Digital cameras are excellent tools to document the clinical situation. The images can be used to illustrate conditions in the patient's mouth. It is much easier to understand what is happening in your mouth if you can see the problem on a computer monitor. This digital image can be utilized to better communicate with other doctors, dental laboratories and insurances companies if necessary.
