 Keith S. Smith II, DDS, MSP
Dr. Smith has built his 34+ year career on his dedication to the highest standards of care in esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. He is respected & esteemed by patients and peers for his skill, knowledge, and commitment to total patient care.
Dr. Smith was born and raised in West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1974. Following graduation from dental school he attained the academic rank of Associate Professor of Crown and Bridge Dentistry at West Viringia University where he taught until 1978.
In 1978, Dr. Smith joined the United States Air Force Dental Corp. He earned his Master of Science in Prosthodontics degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio in 1985. He became "Board Certified" by the American Board of Prosthodontics in 1987 and is presently the only Board Certified prosthodontist in Sarasota.
Dr. Smith retired from the United States Air Force in 1999, after 21 years of service, with the rank of Colonel. He established private practice in 1999 in the Florida Keys. He and his wife, Leah, relocated to Sarasota in 2003.
Dr. Smith's interests include woodworking and tending his collection of exotic orchids.
